A unique moment in time: The pigments I am able to extract each year are determined by the plant's chemical composition on that day – a direct result of that season's temperature and weather, and the plant's environment. This piece is from my December 2023 Red Hawthorn berry harvest. A snapshot of the conditions at that moment. This exact paint and colour profile will never exist in the same way ever again.
Limited edition by nature: many indigenous plants struggle to find a home in the face of a rapidly expanding urban landscape. As a result my harvests are a responsible, limited size. This means when the paint is gone, it's gone. There's no ordering a new tube online. The next batch will be in 12-months once they're back in season.
Shipping: International shipping available.
